Well here we are in November already, time is going way too fast for me!!!!
This month brings us right back to the limbo our life seems to be in constantly. After only 3 months of excepting the fact that God wants us right here in Hawaii, it seems that He is now telling us the time has come for us to leave this island of paradise.
We have been having a little wake up call, in regards to how Cystic Fibrosis can make living in Hawaii very VERY VERY difficult! Ethan has been presenting with a regular/daily cough that is no where near normal. We believe we have determined that it is allergies and that it is now under control. BUT...if we ever have a serious health issue, there is no where in the state of Hawaii that anyone is even remotely knowledgeable about the care needed for Cystic Fibrosis! Thus we feel, it is time to return to the mainland.
The fact that Joshua is now in a job that he absolutely loves and that is keeping us from pulling from a savings that we not longer have, made this a difficult thing to except. At this point, the jobs available on the mainland, for pilots, are paying an annual salary of $22,000....YIKES!!! Not sure how we will handle that one. But we are trusting that God will provide all that we need.
Joshua has a written test scheduled for this Wednesday, that is required for most of the jobs he is looking at. We would absolutely love some prayers, for peace during the test, and for Joshua's brain to be a sponge, during this studying process.
Once the written test is passed on Wednesday, Joshua will begin sending out resumes. Who knows what will happen from there. We could be leaving the islands in a month, in 6 months or even longer. We are not feeling like leaving is an emergency, so Joshua will be a bit picky in selecting a job. If one of the boys' health does begin to decline, then we will consider moving to the mainland, even if a new job is not set up.
We are amazingly becoming more and more at peace with the idea of leaving our paradise. Joshua is getting excited about possibly flying a larger airplane. I am so looking forward to lower prices, and access to so many things that are a pain to get here on the islands. I told the boys that once we get to the mainland, we will schedule a camping trip, so that is the thing they are looking forward too.
If you made it all the way to the end of the post, I have a request for you. I need some Bible Verses that relate to where we are right now. I would love it if you would send some my way!!!
Blessings to you all and thank you for keeping us in your prayers always!!!
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This is one I hold onto everyday.

Matthew 6:25-34
God bless you and your family...... :-))
Matthew 8:21-22 = this scripture has helped me in times of 'change'. Knowing that there is always a cost in following Jesus and remembering that following the dreams and plans God has for us is far better than any other way!I also think it's cool that as we desire God above ALL else, our dreams become the dreams He has intended for us.

I couldn't find the scripture referrence. It's some one talking about Jesus taking care of the birds of the air so how much more will He take care of us.
Let us know if you need anything (including help when it comes time for the move). I hope to see you at my upcoming party on the 19th and 23rd (sent a FB invite)
